The method provided by the invention has the advantages that the corncob is taken as the raw material for cooperatively producing furfural and activated carbon products, so that economic benefit of furfural production can be greatly improved; high hydrolysis temperature and short hydrolysis time are adopted, so that furfural condensation is avoided during production, and yield of furfural is increased; and the furfural residue is adopted for preparing the activated carbon, so that waste residue in a furfural production process can be effectively utilized, and environmental pollution is reduced.
