The protecting sleeve is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 30 percent to 50 percent of polyethylene resin, 35 percent to 55 percent of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) resin, 2 percent to 3 percent of white carbon black, 1 percent to 5 percent of white carbon black, 0.2 percent to 0.4 percent of anti-UV material, 2 percent to 3 percent of compatilizer, 0.15 percent to 0.3 percent of antioxidant, 3 percent to 6 percent of coupling agent, 2.5 percent to 3.5 percent of nanoscale composite type hydroxide-inorganic filler powder, 1.5 percent to 5 percent of dispersing agent, and 0.65 percent to4 percent of light stabilizer. According to the protecting sleeve prepared through the invention, the occurrence of the phenomenon that a metal product is oxidized by air so as to be rusted can be effectively reduced, and an antioxidant and ant-UV material is added into the protecting sleeve, so that the service life of the protecting sleeve is prolonged.
