A tower crane safety monitoring system disclosed by the present invention comprises an IC card system, a personnel identification system, a behavior analysis system, a fatigue alarm system, a tower crane basic detection system, a lifting hook visualization system and a tower crane remote monitoring system, when an operator enters a cab, the operator inserts an IC card into a card reader for verification, and the tower crane can be started only after the verification is passed. A personnel identification system is arranged in a cab to record and verify a driver, if verification is not passed, the tower crane cannot be started, the operation behavior of the driver is scored through a driving behavior analysis system, and the driver can be prevented from working for a long time through a fatigue alarm system; a driver can observe the surrounding environment of the lifting hook through the second camera, so that potential safety hazards are reduced, and a remote monitoring system enables a manager to remotely detect information of the tower crane; in conclusion, safety accidents of the tower crane can be greatly reduced through division and cooperation of all the systems, and therefore the personal safety of a driver is guaranteed.
