This invention discloses a method for promoting growth of massin in a
manganese ore
tailings accumulation area. In the method, massin, joint vetch, three-round-leaf
crotalaria,
selaginella and hypnum plumaeforme are used. The method includes the steps that first,
selaginella, hypnum plumaeforme and tender stem leaves of massin are collected, and joint vetch seeds and three-round-leaf
crotalaria seeds are collected; second, massin stems and cottage are made and wrapped by the hypnum plumaeforme; third, an experimental
sample plot is selected and established in the
manganese ore
tailings accumulation area and planting pits are built; fourth, the massin stems and the cottage are transplanted in the planting pits and covered with the tender stem leaves of massin and soil, the joint vetch seeds and the three-round-leaf
crotalaria seeds are spread and sown on the soil, and the
selaginella is transplanted. The technology is adopted for promoting growth of massin in the
manganese ore
tailings accumulation area,
vegetation in which the massin is dominant is reestablished, soil can be improved because massin roots can be used for
nitrogen fixation and massin steam leaves can be directly buried in soil for
fertilizer, and the developed roots of massin can maintain water and soil and stop and control migration of heavy
metal in manganese ore tailings accumulation area. According to the technology, the materials are convenient to obtain, and the technology is simple, easy to implement and free of
ecological risk.
