The invention discloses an egg-chicken
feed additive for producing
xanthophyll-enriched eggs by using orange peel. The egg-chicken
feed additive is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 70-72 parts of fermented orange peel
powder, 6-8 parts of rice
hull powder, 12-14 parts of coccolithophore
powder and 8-10 parts of assistant; wherein the assistant comprises
solid calcium bisulfate,
microcrystalline cellulose and
silicon dioxide at the ratio of 1.5:6.7:1.8. A preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, airing or
drying orange peel, rice
hull and coccolithophore, respectively crushing into coarse powder with a particle size of 60-80 meshes; in order to make
xanthophyll in the orange peel relatively easily absorbed and utilized, fermenting the orange peel powder by using
lactobacillus acidophilus, finally uniformly mixing the fermented orange peel powder, the rice
hull powder and the coccolithophore powder according to a proportion and then uniformly mixing with the assistant,
processing by using a high-energy vibration mill, and making all raw materials generate a
solid mechanical and
chemical reaction to obtain a finished product. By applying the egg-chicken feed, an egg-chicken is fed by applying the egg-chicken feed, the content of the
xanthophyll in
yolk can be remarkably improved, and is higher than that of a control group by above 30 percent. According to the egg-chicken
feed additive, nutritional conditions of intensively culturing the egg-chicken are improved, the orange peel is comprehensively utilized, waste is changed into valuable, cyclic economy is realized, and the economic benefit is remarkable.
