The invention relates to a zinc-nickel single-redox-flow battery. The zinc-nickel single-redox-flow battery comprises a single battery or an electric pile of more than two single batteries in series,an anode electrolyte storage tank, an anode circulation pipe conduit, and a pump; the single battery comprises a cathode end plate, a cathode current collector, a cathode placed in a cathode electrodeframe, a battery diaphragm, an anode placed in an anode electrode frame, an anode current collector, and an anode end plate which are successively overlapped from bottom to top, an anode electrolytein the anode electrolyte storage tank flows through the anode through the pump, and cathode electrolyte does not flow and is sealed in a closed chamber surrounded by the cathode current collector, thecathode electrode frame, the cathode and the battery septum, wherein the cathode and the anode are flexible electrodes, the cathode electrolyte and the anode electrode are the same, and are both alkaline aqueous solutions containing soluble zinc salt. The zinc-nickel single-redox-flow battery has the advantages of simple structure, high energy density, high power density, good safety and the like.
