The modular micro-ecological filter bed type green roof comprises water storagetank bodies, micro-ecological filter beds, water collecting tanks and main tanks, a plurality of water storage tanks are adjacently arranged front and back to form a plurality of rows of array modules, two sides of each water storage tank body communicate with the water collecting tanks, and the water collecting tanks communicate with one another and communicate with the main tanks in two sides of the array modules. The micro-ecological filter beds are arranged in the water storage tank bodies, an ecological medium layer in each micro-ecological filter bed is suspended in a water body of thewater storage tank body, and mud generated in the micro-ecological filter beds is deposited at the bottoms of the water storage tank bodies and is discharged and gathered in the water collecting tanks; and water treated by the micro-ecological filter beds is discharged into the water collecting tanks, gathered to the main tanks and then discharged. By arranging the modular micro-ecological filterbeds, the problems of blockage and service life of water storage and green roofs are solved, and the green plant irrigation, maintenance and purification functions in rainy areas or water-deficient areas are achieved.

GREEN PLANTS TREATED WITH TiO2 TO REMOVE CONTAMINANTS IN AIR

A method of reducing contaminants in air, including applying titanium dioxide-containing growth media to at least one of a Myrtus communis plant root, stem, and leaf, and growing the plant. The growth media is a liquid growth media, a gel growth media, or both. The plant is then exposed to contaminant-containing air. The contaminant is CO2, SO2, formaldehyde, CO, benzene, toluene, xylene, ethyl benzene, or a combination thereof. The contaminant concentration in the air is reduced relative to a contaminant concentration in the air prior to the exposing. A plant portion having a portion of a Myrtus communis plant comprising an infused titanium dioxide is also described. The portion is at least one of a root, stem, or leaf. In a closed environment, the plant portion reduces the concentration of a contaminant in the air in the closed environment.

The invention discloses a method for synthesizing a hydrocarbon from carbon dioxide and water by simulating photosynthesis of green plants. The hydrocarbon comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 0.01-10 percent of nitrogen-containing compound or nitrogen-containing compound and acid compound in the molar ratio 1:1 or amino acid amphoteric compound and the balance of water. The method comprises the following steps of: transforming the compound(s) into an ammonium oxide compound by means of the chemical properties of the compound(s) in an aqueous solution; performing chemical treatment with mixed gas of CO and CO2 to transform ammonium oxide into an ammonium ion compound; undergoing a hydrolysis reaction on ammonium ions and water to form 'photolysis water'; and introducing carbon dioxide, reacting the carbon dioxide with the 'photolysis water', and undergoing a complex chain reaction in a carbon dioxide reducing reaction system to obtain the hydrocarbon serving as a final target product, wherein an alcohol compound with 3-8 carbon atoms is mainly obtained. According to the method, the problem of carbon emission is fundamentally solved; and meanwhile, cyclic application (combustion) of carbon in the industrial sphere is realized, the original carbon cycle is greatly shortened, and the situation of gradual depletion of fossil fuels can be relieved.
