The invention discloses a method for broken-line aircraft approach guidance through a
microwave landing
system. The method comprises the following steps: establishing an airport
landing point rectangular coordinate
system, wherein the rectangular coordinate
system is established with an airport
landing point serving as an original point, the
central line of a runner serves as the X axis of the coordinate system, the direction to the
tail end of the runner serves as a
positive direction, the Y axis and the X axis are located on a same horizontal plane, and the Z axis is directed to the
sky; acquiring orientation, elevation and distance information of an aircraft during broken-line aircraft approach; and carrying out staged landing guidance through the
microwave landing system according to aplanned flight
route, wherein the intersection of an extension line of a selected glide angle of the aircraft in each stage and the X axis or the Y axis serves as a virtual
landing point of the corresponding stage, and elevations of the aircraft relative to the virtual landing points are calculated, which are then reported, together with information of orientations and distances of the aircraft relative to the airport landing point, to a
pilot and a flight
control system for reference. The method is provided for the broken-line aircraft approach guidance through the
microwave landing system,is applicable to an aircraft approach
scenario with a fixed landing flight
route, and particularly meets the requirements of
autopilot landing or unmanned aerial vehicle landing.
