The invention relates to a pre-concentration method of low-grade
vanadium titano-
magnetite. According to the technical scheme, raw ore of the low-grade
vanadium titano-
magnetite is broken till the particle size is not larger than 3mm, first-stage
high intensity magnetic separation is carried out under the condition of
magnetic field intensity being 0.6-1.2T, and first-stage
high intensity magnetic-separation concentrate and
tailings are obtained; the first-stage
high intensity magnetic-separation concentrate is then ground till powders with the particle size being less than 0.074mm account for50-80 wt%, and ore
grinding products are obtained; the ore
grinding products are subjected to first-stage low intensity
magnetic separation under the condition of the
magnetic field intensity being 0.08-0.20T, and low intensity magnetic-separation concentrate and low intensity magnetic-separation
tailings are obtained; the low intensity magnetic-separation
tailings are subjected to separation ina chute, and gravity concentrate and tailings are obtained; and the gravity concentrate is subjected to second-stage high intensity
magnetic separation under the condition of the
magnetic field intensity being 0.4-0.8T, and second-stage high intensity magnetic-separation concentrate and tailings are obtained. The pre-concentration method of the low-grade
vanadium titano-
magnetite has the characteristics of being outstanding in ore
processing capacity reduction, high in
concentration ratio and low in cost.
