This invention discloses a method and
system for assessing the risk of suicidal ideation in depressed patients based on a virtual high-altitude
scenario. Subjects wear VR headsets,
physiological monitoring devices, and eye-tracking glasses to
record resting physiological data (I) and
time deviation (I). In a "ground"
scenario, a frame-and-bar test is performed, recording the error rate (ER_B). In the virtual high-altitude
scenario, a high-altitude pain avoidance test and a
time deviation test are performed at a certain height to establish a basis for assessing the subject's pain avoidance. At the maximum tolerable height, subjects perform a
body balance test and a
time deviation test, recording physiological data (II) and time deviation (III), and then perform the frame-and-bar test and time deviation test again, recording physiological data (III), time deviation (IV), and the error rate (ER_H). A basis for assessing the subject's fear of heights is established, and a
risk level assessment of the subject's suicidal ideation risk is made. This invention objectively assesses the risk of suicidal ideation by observing the real performance of depressed patients in predicting effective factors for suicidal ideation.
