They were Phaeocystis globosa, Pseudochlorococcus sp., Dunaliella salina and Platymonas subcordiformis. The removal rates of nonylphenol (including adsorption rate, absorption rate and degradation rate) by the four microalgae ranged from 47.18% to 59.05%. The removal rates of nonylphenol by Phaeocystis globosa, Pseudochlorococcus sp., Dunaliella salina and Platymonas subcordiformis were higher than that by P. 96.36%, the degradation rate was 43.43%-90.94%. Among the four microalgae, Platymonas subcordiformis had the most significant removal and degradation of NP.
