Method and apparatus for screening, enrollment and management of patients in clinical trials

A computer-implemented method of tracking patient data in a clinical trial is provided. The clinical trial has one or more investigative sites which perform patient screening and enrollment for the clinical trial, one or more diagnostic sites which perform analysis on one or more patient diagnostic tests ordered by an investigative site and generate analysis results, and a centralized data center in electronic communication with the one or more investigative sites and the one or more diagnostic sites. Each investigative site is provided with a user interface display screen for allowing a user at the investigative site to enter data regarding patients who have been screened for the clinical trial and patients who have been enrolled in the clinical trial. The data from each of the investigative sites is electronically communicated to the centralized data center. Also, the analysis results from each of the diagnostic sites are electronically communicated to the centralized data center. The centralized data center consolidates the data and analysis results from each of the sites and provides one or more status reports regarding the patients for whom data and analysis results were received from the one or more investigative sites and the one or more diagnostic sites.

The invention discloses a method and an equipment of recycling solid waste with metals. The invention comprises the procedures as follows: (1) the solid waste with metals is rough shattered by a slicer, a primary crushed is carried out by a shear mode crusher and a second crushed is carried out by a speed variable hammer crusher; (2) the material is extracted into a gravity separator and a cyclone separator by a centrifugal fun after being second shattered. (3) Dust with metal which is less than 60 meshes is sent into a vibrating screen after falling into a dust collecting hopper of the cyclone separator. (4) Material powder which is more than 60 meshes goes into the vibrating screen. The separation of metal from nonmetal can be realized by a high pressure electrostatic separator. The high pressure electrostatic separator which is used in the invention comprises a body and dust collecting polar plates which can continuously rotate. A plurality of dust collecting polar plates are fixed and connected in series by central axis. The central axis is connected with a motor. A discharge electrode and a scraper are arranged between every two dust collecting polar plates. The invention has high metal recovery rate and the system of the invention operates automatically, which is harmless to the environment and has obviously economical benefit.

The invention discloses a thickening method and a thickening system of whole tailing material slurry paste, wherein the thickening method includes following steps: (1) feeding whole tailing material slurry into a cyclone machine to separate the whole tailing material slurry into crude granular mortar and fine granular mortar, wherein the crude granular mortar, at a bottom flow, is fed into a vibrating sieve while the fine granular mortar, at an over flow, is fed into a thickener; (2) in the vibrating sieve, vibrating the fine granular mortar to sieve the fine granular mortar and feeding the fine granular mortar into the thickener, wherein crude granules are discharged into a sand bin; (3) feeding an over flow in the cyclone machine into the thickener and feeding the bottom flow in the thickener into the sand bin; and (4) in the sand bin, mixing the crude granular mortar and the fine granular mortar to obtain the paste. The thickening system is composed of the cyclone machine, the vibrating sieve, the sand bin and the thickener, wherein a material slurry pipe is connected to input of the cyclone machine. Outputs of the cyclone machine include two groups, one is connected to the vibrating sieve and the other is connected to the thickener. The outputs of the vibrating sieve include two groups, one is connected to the thickener, and the other is connected to the tail sand bin. The output of the thickener is connected to the sand bin. In the invention, the tailing material slurry is separated into crude granular mortar and fine granular mortar and then is thickened, so that thickening concentration can reach 70-82%, which is higher than that of a deep-cone thickener and a sand bin by 2-5%. The tailing utilization rate is higher than 95%.
