The invention belongs to the technical field of marine ecological protection and
aquaculture, and discloses an intervention method for relieving
acid etching damage of
shellfish larvae, according to the method, by adding
strontium ions (Sr) with different concentrations into
seawater, the malformation rate of the
shellfish larvae under the acidification condition can be effectively reduced, the shell length, the
mechanical property and the calcified
gene expression level can be improved, and the
acid etching damage of the
shellfish larvae can be relieved. Therefore, the
embryo shell forming ability and the
acid corrosion resistance are enhanced; according to the invention,
Ruditapes philippinarum,
Crassostrea sikamea and
Pinctada martensii are used as representatives,
strontium intervention experiments are respectively carried out in
seawater with pH values of 8.1, 7.7 and 7.4, and results show that a proper amount of
strontium can significantly enhance the
hardness and
toughness of shells, and a more stable Sr-Ca eutectic structure is formed by partially replacing Ca in the shells, so that the
stress resistance of larvae is improved. The method is quick in effect, wide in application range and suitable for
embryo shell protection and cultivation
stress resistance enhancement in the cultivation process of various shellfish seedlings.
