Besides, the quantity of the carbon source required in a reducing process is substantially reduced and is only 2 times the theoretical reducing amount of methyl orange. Nano Fe3O4 can be recovered under the action of an external magnetic field and can be repeatedly used, and therefore, the treatment cost of the wastewater is further reduced.
