The invention relates to a
water storage device and a
water storage method for collecting, storing and cyclically utilizing rainwater. The
water storage device comprises a filtering well and a water
storage pool, wherein a rainwater collecting
pipe of a building is connected with the filtering well; the filtering well is connected with the water
storage pool through a pipeline; a plurality of
permeation pipes are connected onto the water
storage pool; the water storage
pool is connected with a lifting pump; the water storage
pool is buried under the ground; and the top of the water storage
pool is lower than the average year underground
water level. According to the water storage method, in a rainy day, the rainwater collected by the rainwater collecting
pipe is gathered into the filtering well; filtered
clean water is gathered into the water storage pool by the filtering well; underground water permeates into the
permeation pipes, and is gathered into the water storage pool through the
permeation pipes; in a sunny day, the underground water permeates into the permeation pipes, and is gathered into the water storage pool by the permeation pipes; and when the water needs to be used, the lifting pump is started for extracting the water in the water storage pool, and the water is conveyed to places requiring to use the water. The water storage device and the water storage method have the advantages that the water collecting
modes are various; both the filtered rainwater and the permeating underground water can be collected; rainwater resources are sufficiently utilized; the rainwater
discharge quantity is reduced; and the municipal
pipe network stress is relieved.
