The invention discloses a dust suppressant for enhancing the effect of permeating and wetting dust particles and coal bodies. The dust suppressant comprises, by weight, 1% to 3.5% of lauramide propyl group betaine, 0.03% to 2% of sodium alcohol ether sulphate, 0.3% to 0.8% of dioctyl sulfo-group sodium succinate, 0.03% to 2% of sulfo-group succinic acid sodium diisooctyl, 0.03% to 0.5% of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, 0.3% to 0.9% of 1-hexadecylsulfonic acid sodium salt, 0.3% to 1.2% of sodium lauryl ether sulfate, 0.01% to 0.5% of diethylenetriamine penta (methylene phosphonic acid) heptasaodium salt, 0.2% to 0.5% of oleoyl methylamine ethyl sulfonic acid sodium, 0.2% to 0.4% of calcium chloride, and the balance water. The components are fully mixed and then pressed in a coal mine working face spray dust-settling system to conduct spraying and injected into the coal bodies through drilling holes. By means of the dust suppressant, the problem that the particles and coal bodies are not prone to being wet by water and permeated is solved, the generated quantity of the working face coal dust is lowered effectively, the water consumption for falling dust is saved, and meanwhile, the coal mining efficiency is improved.
