Stilbite is the name of a series of tectosilicate minerals of the zeolite group. Stilbite-Ca, by far the more common of the two, is a hydrous calcium sodium and aluminium silicate, NaCa₄(Si₂₇Al₉)O₇₂·28(H₂O). In the case of stilbite-Na, sodium dominates over calcium. The species are visually indistinguishable, and the series name stilbite is still used whenever testing has not been performed.

The preparation method of the adsorbent comprises the following steps: preparing a piranha liquid; immersing tremolite powder into the piranha liquid at 75-85 DEG C for 8-12 minutes, wherein the dosage of the piranha liquid is determined by just immersing the tremolite powder; then filtering, taking out a filter cake, washing by deionized water until the mass of the filter cake is constant, drying at room temperature, thereby obtaining the modified tremolite filter cake; placing the modified tremolite filter cake into a water / alcohol mixed liquid with the volume ratio of 1:1, and carrying out ultrasound with 80-120W at 30-50KHz for 1.5-2.5 hours; filtering a liquid, washing the filter cake by distilled water until the mass is constant, then drying at 190-210 DEG C for 1.5-2.5 hours; and grinding the dried filter cake, and screening out powder of 80-100 meshes, thereby obtaining the modified tremolite adsorbent. According to the invention, the manufacturing cost is low; the modification method is simple and feasible; the adsorption rate of the modified adsorbent to cobalt and manganese ions in PTA industrial waste water reaches 99.00% above; and moreover, the efficiency is high, and the treatment effect is steady.

Preparation method and application of novel sub-mesoporous zeolite molecular sieve adsorbent

The invention relates to a preparation method of a novel sub-mesoporous zeolite molecular sieve adsorbent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step 1, preparing the sub-mesoporous zeolite molecular sieve adsorbent from natural stilbite mineral powder through structural stabilization modification; and 2, partially replacing calcium ions in the mineral powder obtained by mechanically crushing the natural stilbite through multiple times of cation exchange of a salt or dilute mineral acid aqueous solution, and heating to 350-600 DEG C for 1-2 hours to prepare the sub-mesoporous zeolite molecular sieve adsorbent. In the step 1, the natural stilbite is subjected to structure stabilization modification, so that the natural stilbite has relatively high methane adsorption capacityand nitrogen adsorption selectivity which are rarely possessed by zeolite molecular sieves with other structure types, and the natural stilbite is subjected to adsorption separation of small molecular gas or organic matters and removal of toxic and harmful molecules; the method has important industrial application prospects in the fields of chemical engineering and environmental protection such as concentration and enrichment of methane in coalbed methane and oilfield gas.
