The invention discloses a preparation technology of a painting mist coagulant. The technology comprises the following steps of (1) preparation of an adhesive elimination agent, and preparation includes the hydroxymethylation stage and the condensation stage, wherein at the hydroxymethylation stage, deionized water is added to a 500-mL beaker, then melamine and formaldehyde are added in sequence, the pH value is adjusted to 8-9 with triethylamine, and a stirring reaction is conducted for 30-60 min at 60-80 DEG C; at the condensation stage, the pH value of the solution is adjusted to 3-5 with 50% sulfuric acid, a stirring reaction is conducted for 1-3 h at 60-80 DEG C, and transparent liquid, namely the adhesive elimination agent is prepared; (2) preparation of the painting mist coagulant, wherein 300 mL of water is added to the 500-mL beaker, cationic polyacrylamide is added under high-speed stirring, after stirring and dissolution are conducted for certain time, a modification agent and the adhesive elimination agent are added, stirring continues for 0.5 h, and a sticky transparent solution, namely the painting mist coagulant is obtained. According to the preparation technology ofthe painting mist coagulant, through the cooperation effect of all the components, the flocculation performance and paint residue separation effect of the painting mist coagulant are obviously improved, and the aim of removing over-sprayed oil paint in oil paint wastewater is achieved.
