The invention relates to the field of
high polymer materials, in particular to a high-
toughness flame-retardant PLA
composite material and a preparation method thereof. The
composite material comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 34.4%-89.3% of PLA, 5.0%-20.0% of a
flame retardant, 1.0%-15.0% of a
charring agent, 5.0%-20.0% of a
toughening agent, 1.0%-5.0% of an anti-dripping agent, 0.2%-1.0% of an
antioxidant and 0.5%-1.5% of a
processing aid. The preparation method mainly comprises the following steps: mixing the components of the high-
toughness flame-retardant PLA
composite material through a torque
rheometer, and carrying out twin-screw
extrusion granulation or
compression molding through a full-automatic tablet press to obtain the high-
toughness flame-retardant PLA composite material. The flame retardant adopted in the invention is
halogen-free. The material is low in
toxicity and conforms to the development concept of
environmental protection; the flame retardant, the
charring agent and the anti-dripping agent are added at the same time, so the dripping phenomenon in the PLA
combustion process can be effectively inhibited, the flexibilizer with good compatibility with PLA is added, introduction of the compatilizer is avoided, resources are saved, and the cost is reduced. Due to the introduction of the
toughening agent, the toughness of the PLA composite material is improved, and meanwhile, due to good
biocompatibility, the PLA composite material is well dispersed in a PLA matrix, and the
mechanical property of PLA is not influenced.
