The composite fertilizer comprises nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elements and the nanometer calcium carbonate. The composite fertilizer comprises 10-30% by mass of the nitrogen element, 8-30% by mass of the phosphorus element, 5-25% by mass of the potassium element and 0.1-15% by mass of the nanometer calcium carbonate, with the balance being auxiliary materials, and with the sum of mass percentages of all the components being 100%. The fertilizers containing the nanometer calcium carbonate provide a source of a medium element that is calcium. In addition, the stable molecular structure of the nanometer calcium carbonate and a neutral acidity-alkalinity environment provide potential application value for combination with major elements in the fertilizers. The composite fertilizer can be used as a base fertilizer or an additional fertilizer.
