The efficient quail-raising bed packing is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 130-150 parts of rice hulls, 170-190 parts of maize straws, 70 parts of peanut shells, 32-38 parts of vermiculite, 22-24 parts of quartz stones, 11-13 parts of shells, 1-2 parts of alginate, 3-5 parts of a microbial fermentation fungicide, 4-6 parts of saccharose, 4-8 parts of clay, 4-5 parts of auxiliaries, 3-4 parts of rice bran, 50 parts of modified straw powder, 2.5-3.5 parts of pumpkin stems, 8-12 parts of camphorwood, 3-5 parts of ramie roots, 3 parts of lithospermum, 11-13 parts of liquorice, 7-9 parts of radix aconiti agrestis, 2-4 parts of septemlobate kalopanax barks, 1-3 parts of herba lycopi, 3-5 parts of quail paederia scandens, and a proper amount of water. As bed packing for raising quails, vermiculite, shells and the like are ground into particles which are mixed in packing to be pecked by quails, the stone particles not only can be helpful for muscular stomach of quails to grind food, but also can provide a small amount of mineral elements such as magnesium, calcium and the like, so that the quail meat is more nutritional.
