The invention discloses an
automatic control method of mold temperature in a
rotational molding process, which is characterized in that an
infrared temperature sensor is used for monitoring the surface temperature of a
rotational molding mold, an electric actuation mechanism which is installed on a
gas pipeline is used for controlling the gas flow, so that the
rotational molding temperature can be automatically controlled. Through a
servo motor which is installed on a rotational
molding machine, a support which is provided with the
infrared temperature sensor is driven by a lead screw to move back and forth, the temperature of the rotational molding mold in the axial direction can be measured, a temperature
signal is inputted to an industrial control computer after being processed, a temperature
chromaticity of the rotational molding mold body and a two-dimensional temperature distribution
histogram are generated, a
temperature difference signal is converted to a corresponding flow
signal through a
signal processing module according to the difference between a
temperature monitoring value and a given temperature value, the electrical actuation mechanism on the corresponding pipeline is controlled to adjust the openness of a valve so as to control the gas flow, so that the closed-
loop control of the temperature in the rotational molding process can be realized. Due to the adoption of the
automatic control method, the labor intensity is greatly alleviated, the precision is improved, and the
automatic control on the temperature in the rotational molding process can be realized according to the rotational molding requirement.
