In a double-helix three-sleeve heat exchanging pipe bundle of the composite sleeve double-helix heat exchanger, a middle pipe and a hollow inner pipe form an inner flow passage; inner helical blades are arranged in an annular gap of the middle pipe and the inner pipe; an outer pipe and the middle pipe form an outer flow passage; outer helical blades with opposite handedness with the inner helical blades are arranged in an annular gap of the middle pipe and the outer pipe; and two-phase liquid fast forms an annular lamella in the pipe to flow forwards in a helical scouring way. The structure not only has strong structure, but also can greatly improve the heat-transfer characteristic of the heat exchanger.

A coolant delivery tube disposed within can have a coolant delivered from a proximal end into the guidewire lumen. The coolant flows back proximally through the guidewire while cooling the guidewire surface and cooling or cryogenically ablating the contacting tissue. To minimize guidewire exposure to surrounding fluids or tissue, insulative barriers can be attached to the guidewire. A coolant delivery tube and return lumen can be integrated from a single extrusion in various configurations. Expandable balloons can also be used to expand the loops of the guidewire to contact the tissue. Also, helical loops with a coolant delivery tube or stem disposed longitudinally within the loops can be used and the loops can also have a variable collapsible cooling region.

The invention discloses an indirect air cooling method and a system with the working fluid of parallel-connected obverse and inverse refrigeration cycles. The method and the system can be widely applied to the cooling systems of the condensers in thermal power, nuclear power and other turbine-generator units or the cooling systems of the intercoolers in petroleum, chemical and other industries to reduce energy consumption, save investments, as well as improve water-saving rate and the adaptability of the cooling system to the environment; therefore, the method and the system are provided with promotional values and can produce larger social environmental benefits and economic benefits after implementation.
