Method and system for integrated reservoir and surface facility networks simulations

Integrated surface-subsurface modeling has been shown to have a critical impact on field development and optimization. Integrated models are often necessary to analyze properly the pressure interaction between a reservoir and a constrained surface facility network, or to predict the behavior of several fields, which may have different fluid compositions, sharing a common surface facility. The latter is gaining a tremendous significance in recent deepwater field development. These applications require an integrated solution with the following capabilities: * to balance a surface network model with a reservoir simulation model in a robust and efficient manner. * To couple multiple reservoir models, production and injection networks, synchronising their advancement through time. * To allow the reservoir and surface network models to use their own independent fluid descriptions (black oil or compositional descriptions with differing sets of pseudo-components). * To apply global production and injection constraints to the coupled system (including the transfer of re-injection fluids between reservoirs). In this paper we describe a general-purpose multi-platform reservoir and network coupling controller having all the above features. The controller communicates with a selection of reservoir simulators and surface network simulators via an open message-passing interface. It manages the balancing of the reservoirs and surface networks, and synchronizes their advancement through time. The controller also applies the global production and injection constraints, and converts the hydrocarbon fluid streams between the different sets of pseudo-components used in the simulation models. The controller's coupling and synchronization algorithms are described, and example applications are provided. The flexibility of the controller's open interface makes it possible to plug in further modules (to perform optimization, for example) and additional simulators.

The invention discloses a method for modifying biomass cracking oil to modified biomass oil through esterification, etherification and quality-improvement. The method comprises the following: step one, according to the proportion that the mass ratio of biomass cracking oil to benzyl chloride to alkaline solution to low-carbon alcohol is 100 to 80-100 to 40-80 to 10-20; and the biomass cracking oil, the low-carbon alcohol, the benzyl chloride and the alkaline solution are added into a reaction kettle, are heated at the temperature of between 90 and 110 DEG C to an infinite reflux state and react for 5 to 8 hours. Step two, after the infinite reflux reaction is finished, the mixture is cooled, condensed and layered; the lower layer is clear and transparent aqueous solution; black oil phase on the upper layer is separated, and is distilled under the condition that the temperature is 80 DEG C and the pressure is 10 kilopascal; low-carbon alcohol and water in oil phase are removed; the residual mixture is distilled under the condition that the temperature is between 130 and 150 DEG C and the pressure is 10 kilopascal; the unreacted benzyl chloride is reclaimed to obtain a product of black viscous liquid; and according to the proportion that the mass ratio of the product to ethanol is 3 to 1, the black viscous liquid is diluted and dissolved to obtain the modified biomass oil of which the PH value is between 5 and 7, the density is between 1.0 and 1.1 g/cm<3>, the water content is between 0.5 and 1.0 percent, the thermal value is between 25.0 and 35.0 kJ/g and the viscidity is between 135 and 150 mm<2>/s.

The invention investigates the effects of reservoir heterogeneity on IPR curves for horizontal wells drilled in heterogeneous solution gas drive reservoirs. To achieve the desired objective, a commercial simulator Eclipse is utilized to develop IPRs for horizontal wells producing oil from solution gas drive reservoirs. Firstly, a simulation model is developed where a base case is considered with typical rock, fluid and reservoir properties using a black oil model. Dimensionless IPR curves are generated by obtaining a set of points relating to flowing bottom-hole pressures to oil production rates. The effects of several reservoir and fluid properties such as bubblepoint pressure, oil gravity, residual oil saturation, critical gas saturation, initial water saturation, porosity and absolute permeabilities on the calculated curves are investigated.
Reservoir heterogeneity is included in the simulation model by incorporating a semi-variogram function. Finally, a new single empirical IPR model is obtained for horizontal wells producing oil from heterogeneous solution gas drive reservoirs suitable for systems with different reservoir permeability. The new empirical IPR model is then compared to published correlations and is found to have a small and acceptable average absolute error of less than 2%. Furthermore, the invention also shows that bubble point pressure has significant effect on dimensionless IPR curves. However, plots for other properties indicate that although the curves are not identical, they are similar in shape and demonstrate much less variance than the bubble point pressure plot. Therefore, these properties have only a minor effect on calculated, dimensionless IPR curves.

By selecting reactive extracting agent, two unit operations of reaction and extraction are carried out simultaneously, and the method comprises: a first step, according to a proportion of the biomass pyrolysis oil to low-carbon alcohol to a catalyst by mass being 100:40-100:2-10, adding the biomass pyrolysis oil, the low-carbon alcohol and the catalyst into a reaction kettle, dripping hydrogen peroxide water solution into the reaction kettle at a temperature of 80 DEG C according to a proportion of the biomass pyrolysis oil to oxidant by mass being 100:20-60, and then heating the mixture for reacting for 5 to 8 hours at a temperature of between 80 and 100 DEG C; and a second step, after total reflux reaction is ended, cooling, condensing and layering the mixture, and obtaining clear and transparent water solution on the lower layer; and separating a black oil phase on the upper layer, distilling and reclaiming the unreacted low-carbon alcohol in the oil phase at a temperature of 80 DEG C under 10KPa, obtaining the black sticky liquid which is not distilled, namely a product, and diluting and dissolving the product by methanol according to a proportion of the product to the methanol by mass being 4:1 to obtain the modified biological oil, wherein the pH is 4 to 6, the density is 1.0 to 1.1 g/cm<3>, the water content is 0.5 to 2.0 percent, the thermal value is 25.0 to 30.0 kilojoules per gram, and the viscosity is 35 to 40 mm<2>/s at a temperature of 30 DEG C.
