A labeling apparatus (1) comprising: a feed roller (11) configured to feed a web (2), the web (2) being made of a label material; a transfer carousel (14) configured to receive the web from the feed roller (11) in the loading area (C) and comprising a plurality of recesses (140R) angularly distributed along an outer circumference of the transfer carousel (14), the transfer carousel (14) rotating about a first axis (X1) and the first axis (X1) being longitudinally oriented; a cutter (130) operating on a portion of the web (2) facing the recess (140R) to separate segments of the web (2) constituting the label, and configured to vibrate longitudinally.
