coal series source rocks in a high-over
mature stage, and belongs to the technical field of oil-gas exploration. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, based on a geochemical parameter relation, determining an effectiveness evaluation standard of
coal series source rocks in a high-over
mature stage; determining TOC calculation formulas and identification standards of different source rocks based on correlation between actually measured TOC of different
coal measure source rocks and
logging parameters and
logging responses of different source rocks; and finally, constructing coal measure
source rock favorable area evaluation parameters, calculating TOC and thickness of different coal measure
source rock layers of each well at a target interval, and determining the magnitude of the
source rock evaluation parameters of each well, thereby determining a source rock favorable area and further providing a basis for exploration and deployment of coal measure
natural gas resources. The validity evaluation standard determined by the invention is combined with a large amount of actually measured data, and the method is reliable and accords with the production result; the quality and the thickness of the source rock are considered while favorable area evaluation parameters are constructed, differences and contributions of different lithologic coal series source rocks are comprehensively considered, the method is more scientific, reasonable and comprehensive, and the application effect is good.
