The invention relates to a researching method of a dominant male genic male sterile material of hulless oat. The researching method specifically comprises the following steps: (1), implementing a characteristic and feature researching method of the sterile material; (2), implementing the research on a hybridization method; (3), implementing a genetic analysis researching method of the sterile material, namely, 1, surveying the fertility of an F1-generation sterile material; 2, tracking and surveying a fertile line separated from the F1-generation sterile material; 3, surveying fertility conditions of the sterile material under different ecological conditions; (4), implementing a sterility surveying method of the sterile material; and (5), implementing application of a genic male sterile material on a hulless oat, namely, 1, hybridization; 2, seed selection; and 3, breeding. By adopting a breeding procedure of a genic male sterile single-cross single-gene progressive summating method, a genic male sterile double-cross double-gene progressive summating method and a dynamic gene pool hybridization breeding method, a research on a recurrent selection method is developed. According to the researching method, the breeding level and the selecting efficiency of the hulless oat are increased, the increase of producing varieties, the high speed of producing the varieties, and the good quality of produced varieties are facilitated, the social benefit is large, the hybridization efficiency is improved, the cost is lowered, and the economic benefit is good.
