The invention discloses a flexible
thermal insulation aerogel material and a preparation method and application thereof and belongs to a
thermal insulation material. The method comprises the following steps of preparing a composite
nanofiber aerogel solution; then, placing inorganic fibers into the composite
nanofiber aerogel solution for soaking, carrying out
freeze drying to obtain inorganic fibers of the composite aerogel, and finally weaving the organic fibers of the composite aerogel into aerogel felt in different shapes, wherein the aerogel felt is used as a flexible
thermal insulation layer to be applied to a flexible fireproof explosion-proof layer for manufacturing a medium-
high voltage cable joint. According to the method, an explosion-proof core layer, the flexible thermal
insulation layer and a flexible fireproof layer are sewed into a whole part through high-temperature resistant wires, so that the functions of explosion prevention,
fire prevention and thermal insulation are integrated, and meanwhile, the flexibility of the fireproof explosion-proof layer is ensured. The core of the flexible thermal
insulation layer of the aerogel material lies in the preparation of the aerogel felt, and the inorganic fibers are in dip
dyeing with the aerogel to provide a carrier for the aerogel, so that the thermal insulation performance of the aerogel is ensured, and meanwhile the aerogel is effectively prevented from being folded easily.
