The invention discloses a
shape memory alloy material-based hinge which comprises a shell, an end cover is arranged at the end part of the shell, an output shaft is arranged at the central axis position of the shell, a rotor is arranged on the output shaft, a rotor cover plate is arranged on the rotor, a
torsion spring is arranged on the output shaft, one torsion arm of the
torsion spring is mounted on the rotor cover plate, and the other torsion arm of the
torsion spring is mounted on the rotor cover plate. The other torsion arm of the torsion spring is installed on the shell, and a
shape memory alloy driving spring is arranged between the shell and the rotor. When the temperature reaches the
phase transition temperature of the
shape memory alloy, the length of the shape memory
alloy driving spring is increased, the rotor is pushed to rotate anticlockwise, the rotor drives the output shaft to rotate, and therefore rotation output is achieved. When the temperature reaches the
phase change temperature of the shape memory
alloy, the length of the shape memory
alloy driving spring is shortened, the rotor is pushed to rotate
clockwise under the torque action of the torsion spring, the rotor drives the output shaft to rotate
clockwise, and therefore rotation resetting is achieved, and the technical advantages of being free of
electromagnetic interference and achieving rotation driving are achieved.
