According to the invention, the waste leather ultrafine powder can be sufficiently complexed with hydroxyl in PVA in the preparation method, and suitable for being used as the carbon source; furthermore, a multi-layer carbon structure formed by high-temperature oxygen-free carbonization can achieve the effect of enhancing the electromagnetic shielding performance of the obtained carbon aerogel; simultaneously, the preparation method provided by the invention is simple in step and low in cost; and thus, high-value industrial utilization on waste leather materials can be easily realized.
