The invention provides a method for preparing a palladium catalyst which has alkali-resistant performance and is used for producing hydrogen peroxide, as well as a product thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a composite carrier consisting of Al2O3 and other metal components is loaded with alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, kept in an oven for 6 to 24 hours at a temperature between 80 and 150 DEG C; and palladium chloride is loaded on the carrier, kept in the oven for 6 to 24 hours at a temperature between 80 and 150 DEG C and roasted for 1 to 5 hours at a temperature between 350 and 1,000 DEG C. The other metal raw materials are two salts selected from magnesium nitrate, ferric nitrate, manganous nitrate, cerous nitrate, cobalt nitrate, nickel nitrate and cadmium nitrate. The alkali metal or the alkaline earth metal raw material is a salt selected from sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, calcium nitrate, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, sodium sulfate, potassium sulphate and calcium sulfate. The catalyst prepared by the method overcomes the defects that the prior catalyst is poor in alkali-resistant performance during application, easy to soften when meeting base catalysts and easy to cause palladium as an active ingredient to fall off. The method greatly improves the industrial applicability of the catalyst in a process of producing hydrogen peroxide through automatic anthraquinone oxidation.
