The invention discloses a high-speed train wheel set damage identification test bed based on wheel vibration acceleration response. The test bed comprises a proportional bogie, a proportional train body, a proportional rail, a power loading and control system, a data acquisition system and a signal processing and analysis system, wherein the proportional train body is connected with the wheel setthrough the proportional bogie, the proportional bogie comprises an axle box, a framework, a primary spring, a transmission and a motor, the motor drives the transmission connected with the axle to provide traction force for wheel set movement, and the axle is connected with the wheel set and is hollow; the power loading and control system comprises a vertical vibration exciter, and the vertical vibration exciter acts on the lower portion of the proportional rail; the data acquisition system comprises sensors, and the sensors include a stress-strain gauge, a displacement sensor and an acceleration sensor. Experimental studies such as vibration response stress-strain test, wheel-rail force load identification, vehicle traction control, wheel noise reduction performance optimization and thelike can be carried out at the same time, and damage caused by abrasion, scratch and the like of the wheel set, especially the axle, can be accurately detected.
