The invention discloses a method for using
polylactic acid fiber to prepare germinating papers. According to the method, an ordinary-pressure low-temperature
plasma technology is adopted to dispose the
polylactic acid fiber, then the
oxygen-containing groups on the surface of the
polylactic acid fiber are increased, and therefore, the hydrophilic performance of the polylactic acid fiber is improved; by adopting the improved polylactic acid fiber as the matrix for preparing the germinating papers, the hydrophilic performance and water-retaining property are all excellent; after being sprayed by
nutrient solution and
paclobutrazol, the polylactic acid fiber are used to fabricate a
paper cup to replace a
polyethylene cup usually used in the prior art; a seed is placed inside the germinating
paper cup, and the surface of the seed is covered by a layer of sterile
dry land soil; after being cultivated, the rice seedlings with the germinating paper cups can be planted inside the soil without worry about
pollution on the environment of the land and requirement of
transplantation, and moreover, the seedlings have no restrain period during the process of growth, and the ability of restraining water and
fertilizer is excellent. By reducing the use amount of
seedbed soil, the germinating paper prepared by the method has the advantages of
seedling cultivation without blending of
fertilizer, no occurrence of
corrosion, slow effect emission, and a longer useful life of
fertilizer; meanwhile, the produced seedlings grow up in accordance with each other and the roots of the seedlings are strong; additionally, the seedlings can turn green quickly and
tiller early and substantially. The method for using polylactic acid fiber to prepare germinating papers has the advantages of less consumption of work, labor and water, less costs, and more effectiveness.
