The invention provides a manufacturing method for low-carbon thin strip steel containing acicular ferrite. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps that (1), smelting of molten steel is performed, the molten steel comprises, by mass percentage, 0.02-0.18% of C, 0.2-0.6% of Si, 0.5-1% of Mn, 0.002-0.0035% of Al, 0.05-0.3% of Zr, 0.003-0.15% of P, 0.001-0.02% of S, 0.003-0.015% of O, not larger than 0.004% of N and the balance Fe; (2), preheating of a tundish is performed, the molten steel in a steel ladle is poured into double-roller strip continuous-casting equipment through the tundish, the molten steel is solidified and guided out through a roller seam of a cast roller, and a cast strip is obtained; (3), the cast strip is cooled to 900-1,000 DEG C after being guided out, and one-path hot rolling begins; and (4), the cast strip is water-cooled to 550-620 DEG C and curled, and the low-carbon thin strip steel containing the acicular ferrite is obtained. According to the manufactured low-carbon thin strip steel containing the acicular ferrite, the content of the acicular ferrite ranges from 40% to 90%, the structure of the low-carbon thin strip steel is refined effectively, and the problems that a traditional production process of the low-carbon thin strip steel is complex, high in cost, large in energy consumption and the like are solved.
