This invention provides a method for detecting and calculating the austenite content in steel based on a permeability meter, relating to the fields of steel and electromagnetics. Based on the theoretical differences in saturation magnetization of different phases in ferromagnetic materials, this invention establishes a theoretical calculation model and detection method for measuring austenite content using a permeability meter. The present disclosure relates to a coal quality analysis system and method, wherein the coal quality analysis system comprises: a first heating furnace configured to heat a coal sample to volatilize moisture in the coal sample; a second heating furnace configured to heat the coal sample after dehydration by the first heating furnace to volatilize volatile matter in the coal sample and cause reactions of sulfur components, carbon components and hydrogen components; a gas supply assembly comprising: a nitrogen gas source configured to supply nitrogen gas to the first heating furnace, and an oxygen gas source configured to supply oxygen gas to the second heating furnace; and a gas analysis assembly comprising a first branch and an analysis component, a first end of the first branch being connected to an exhaust port of the second heating furnace, a second end of the first branch being connected to the analysis component, the analysis component being configured to measure a content of the volatile matter and determine contents of the corresponding components according to reaction products of the sulfur components, the carbon components and the hydrogen components.
