2 results about "Delphinidin" patented technology

Delphinidin (also delphinidine) is an anthocyanidin, a primary plant pigment, and also an antioxidant. Delphinidin gives blue hues to flowers in the genera Viola and Delphinium. It also gives the blue-red color of the grape that produces Cabernet Sauvignon, and can be found in cranberries and Concord grapes as well as pomegranates, and bilberries.

Application of slan2-like gene in regulating anthocyanin content in tomato

The application discloses application of a SlAN2-like gene in regulating content of delphinidin-3-glucoside in tomatoes, a nucleotide sequence of the SlAN2-like gene is shown as SEQ ID NO:1, and overexpression of the SlAN2-like gene can increase the content of delphinidin-3-glucoside in the tomatoes. Compared with the prior art, the application finds that overexpression of the SlAN2-like gene can increase the content of delphinidin-3-glucoside in the tomatoes, and only one anthocyanin of delphinidin-3-glucoside is produced. Therefore, the SlAN2-like gene can be used to produce a tomato material containing only delphinidin-3-glucoside monomers, because anthocyanins in most plants are in the form of a mixture, and extraction and purification work is needed to obtain monomer anthocyanin substances. The created tomato material can be used to reduce technical barriers and costs of extracting delphinidin-3-glucoside.

An antioxidant plant extract composition

The present application belongs to the technical field of plant extracts, and particularly relates to an antioxidant plant extract composition, which is prepared by mixing the following raw materials in parts by mass: Passiflora edulis fruit extract 30-40 parts, blackcurrant fruit extract 25-35 parts, and Ampelopsis megalophylla leaf extract 20-30 parts. The present application first compounds three plant extracts of Passiflora edulis fruit, blackcurrant fruit and Ampelopsis megalophylla leaf, which can enrich the types of related products. Moreover, Passiflora edulis fruit is rich in flavones such as apigenin and luteolin, blackcurrant fruit is rich in anthocyanins such as cyanidin and delphinidin, and Ampelopsis megalophylla leaf is rich in flavonols such as dihydromyricetin. The synergistic effect of the three extracts can scavenge mitochondrial ROS, protect mitochondrial membrane potential, and improve the activity of respiratory chain complex enzymes, and has good mitochondrial protection and antioxidant damage repair effects, and has important application value for the protection of mitochondrial oxidative damage in the middle-aged and elderly population.
