5 results about "Inorganic ions" patented technology

Inorganic ions in animals and plants are ions necessary for vital cellular activity. In body tissues, ions are also known as electrolytes, essential for the electrical activity needed to support muscle contractions and neuron activation. They contribute to osmotic pressure of body fluids as well as performing a number of other important functions. Below is a list of some of the most important ions for living things as well as examples of their functions...

Preparation and application of microdroplet-activated biomass-based nanomicro-interface catalytic material

The application belongs to the technical field of catalytic materials, and relates to preparation of a biomass-based nanometer micro-interface catalytic material activated by a microdroplet method and application of the biomass-based nanometer micro-interface catalytic material in the field of water treatment. The application comprises preparation of a biomass-based nanometer micro-interface catalytic material activated by a microdroplet method, and a piezoelectric catalyst base adopts a biomass fiber with a tubular structure, after surface modification, inorganic ions are embedded in the pipeline, and under the condition of magnetic induction rapid heating, rapid carbonization and crushing are carried out to obtain a catalytic material with super-high surface area and interface energy. The material can quickly migrate at the interface of the microdroplet through hydrophilic and hydrophobic effects, increase the surface tension and interface energy, thereby improving the catalytic performance of the microdroplet activation method, generating high-activity free radicals, and realizing rapid degradation of organic matters in water.

Intensive cultivation method of rare medicinal materials with plant allelopathy

The application discloses an intensive cultivation method of rare medicinal materials with plant allelopathy, and relates to the technical field of Chinese medicinal material cultivation, and comprises a radicle safety domain, an outer edge protection domain and a cultivation unit with a directional selection and penetration interface between the two domains, wherein the radicle safety domain is filled with a germination and cultivation substrate, and the outer edge protection domain is filled with a protection substrate and is configured with an allelopathy source plant component; seeds are placed in the radicle safety domain and seedling raising management is performed, a net outward seepage component is formed by irrigation and water replenishment within a sensitive window from seedling emergence to slow seedling, so that inhibitory small molecules outward migrate at the directional selection and penetration interface and are intercepted and inactivated on the outer edge side, while water and inorganic ion supplies are maintained; the outer edge grass and bacteria inhibiting effect is continuously maintained in the early stage of planting and flux maintenance is implemented.

A nanocomposite, nanocomposite phase material, and methods of making and using the same

The application provides a nanocomposite, a nanocomposite phase material and a preparation method and application thereof, and the preparation method of the nanocomposite comprises the following steps: (1) mixing and reacting iron calcium phosphate ion oligomers and a polyvinyl alcohol solution to obtain a composite glue; and (2) mixing and reacting the composite glue obtained in the step (1) with a nanosheet dispersion solution to form a nanocomposite. The iron calcium phosphate ion oligomers and the polyvinyl alcohol are introduced into the nanosheet interlayer, in the evaporation self-assembly process, the ion oligomers are in-situ inorganic ion polymerization under the regulation of the polyvinyl alcohol molecular chain, an organic-inorganic interpenetrating homogeneous network is formed through hydrogen bond and coordination bond interaction in the nanosheet interlayer, and thus a firm 'organic-inorganic homogeneous network' structure is constructed between adjacent nanosheets. The nanocomposite prepared by the method has high tensile strength and toughness.

Methods and systems for continuous PFAS destruction

Methods, systems and devices for lowering a concentration of a PFAS in a solution including exposing a treatment solution to a UV light source from one or more lamps in a continuous reactor, the treatment solution comprising a PFAS, an inorganic ion, and having a pH of about 8 or more, and flowing the treatment solution through the continuous reactor at a flow rate of equal to or greater than 18.9 litres per minute (5 gallons per minute) while exposing the treatment solution to the UV light. The treatment solution to UV light in the continuous reactor results in partially or fully defluorinating about 80% or more of the PFAS in the treatment solution.

An evaluation method for adsorption of inorganic ions on feldspar surface based on molecular dynamics simulation

The application relates to a feldspar surface adsorption inorganic ion evaluation method based on a molecular dynamics simulation, characterized in that the evaluation method comprises the following steps: a feldspar surface model is constructed; water and inorganic ions are respectively inserted into the feldspar surface model to obtain a feldspar / water / inorganic ion model; molecular dynamics simulation is carried out on the feldspar / water / inorganic ion model; and the adsorption performance of the feldspar surface to the inorganic ions in water is evaluated according to the simulation result. The feldspar / water / inorganic ion model is constructed to carry out molecular dynamics simulation, the interaction process and the equilibrium state of the system under different conditions are obtained, the adsorption active sites in the simulation result are directly observed, and mechanism discussion and judgment are carried out by combining kinetic information analysis, which is helpful to find the best conditions for the feldspar to adsorb the inorganic ions in water and improve the adsorption efficiency.
