modified atmosphere packaging, preservation and storage method of
lotus roots and application. The method includes the following steps of cleaning, selecting, sterilizing, color protection treatment,
slicing, packaging, air mixing, air pumping, air inflation and hot sealing. By means of the method, packaging is easy and convenient, and packaging boxes, inflated gas and other raw materials are low in cost. Compared with existing
fresh food e-commerce that cold-chain logistics has to be used for guaranteeing freshness, cost is obviously reduced. According to the method, the
respiration function of
fruits and vegetables and thin film air permeability of packaging materials are used for adjusting balance of gas components in a bag, so that the
respiration function of fresh-
cut lotus roots is reduced, surface
browning of
lotus root slices and increase of the total number of surface bacterial colonies are inhibited, and accordingly the storage life of the fresh-
cut lotus roots is prolonged. The method is suitable for e-commerce selling. The fresh-
cut lotus roots are stored in the environment at the normal temperature of 18-25 DEG C, and the lotus roots can be kept white and tender within 6-7 days. Adopted packaging boxes facilitate transportation, e-commerce selling is easy, and the method has good application prospects in the fresh-cut
lotus root e-commerce selling field.
