The invention provides a composite flocculating agent for treating oil sand deposit
tailings, and a treating method for cured fine
tailings. The composite flocculating agent comprises 30-70% of
polyacrylamide, 5-30% of poly(dimethyldiallyl
ammonium chloride), 2-20% of a
calcium-containing material and 1-20% of an adsorbent, wherein the
calcium-containing material is one or more selected from the group consisting of
calcium carbonate and
calcium oxide, and the adsorbent is one or more selected from the group consisting of diatomite and
activated carbon. The composite flocculating agent has a rapid
sedimentation speed; after
solid-liquid separation, liquid supernatant is clear, the content of suspended matters is low, and
turbidity is small; flocs formed after
flocculation are dense, and thesolid content of bottom mud is high; and the composite flocculating agent has good temperature adaptability. The composite flocculating agent has good
solubility, and can be directly added as
dry powder in virtue of an appropriate dosing device, thereby eliminating a flocculating agent dissolving device and reducing investment. The composite flocculating agent of the invention can be used for treating cured fine
tailings; and the composite flocculating agent can also be used for secondary
dewatering of bottom mud, and after the composite flocculating agent is added into the bottom mud, capillary suction time is short, yield stress is moderate, and a
dehydration rate is high.
