The invention discloses a high-chromaticity / high-turbidity wastewater treatment material, comprising the following materials according to parts by weight: 40-60 parts of a composite coagulant, 30-50 parts of a composite flocculant, 3-7 parts of magnesium sulfate, 5-10 parts of carboxyl methyl cellulose, 2-6 parts of porous hydroxyapatite powder, 4-8 parts of expanded vermiculite powder, and 10-15 parts of polyamino polyether methylene phosphonate (PAPEMP); the composite coagulant is made from polysilicate ferric chloride, polyethyleneimine-sodium xanthogenate and polysulfate ferric chloride according to a weight ratio of 2-3:1:1-2; the composite flocculant is made from anionic polyacrylamide and polyepichlorohydrin according to a weight ratio of 1-3:1; the invention also discloses usage of the high-chromaticity / high-turbidity wastewater treatment material. The treatment material provided herein is useful in treating high-chromaticity / high-turbidity wastewater difficult to treat and has good settling effect, and emitted water meets the standard for emission.
