38 results about "Cobaltocene" patented technology

Cobaltocene, known also as bis(cyclopentadienyl)cobalt(II) or even "bis Cp cobalt", is an organocobalt compound with the formula Co(C₅H₅)₂. It is a dark purple solid that sublimes readily slightly above room temperature. Cobaltocene was discovered shortly after ferrocene, the first metallocene. Due to the ease with which it reacts with oxygen, the compound must be handled and stored using air-free techniques.

Preparation method of polythioether corrosion inhibitor containing cobaltocene cation side group and used corrosion inhibitor system

The invention relates to a preparation method of a polythioether corrosion inhibitor containing a cobaltocene cation side group and a used corrosion inhibitor system. Through an ingenious structural design, sulfur atoms are introduced into a polymer main chain by utilizing a simple and convenient thiol-ene click polymerization reaction to obtain saturated polythioether of which the side chain contains sulfonate groups with different numbers; and the target polythioether corrosion inhibitor of which the side chain contains different numbers of cobaltocene onium ions is prepared through efficient azidation and copper-catalyzed azide-alkynyl click reaction. According to the polymer corrosion inhibitor, the interaction between the corrosion inhibitor and the metal surface can be further enhanced through the synergistic effect of sulfur atoms on a main chain, side group connecting groups of triazole and cobaltocene onium ions and the metal surface and the excellent film-forming property of the polymer, so that the excellent corrosion inhibition effect is achieved. The final corrosion inhibition experiment test shows that when the corrosion inhibitor is immersed in a 5% HCl corrosion inhibition medium for 6 hours at the temperature of 25 DEG C, the corrosion inhibition efficiency of the corrosion inhibitor with the concentration of 15 ppm on metal reaches up to 96%.

The invention provides a preparation technology of cobaltocene. The preparation technology comprises the following steps: (1) reacting cobalt dichloride with a metal compound containing alkyloxy in an oxygen-free first alcoholic solvent to obtain a cobalt compound containing alkyloxy; (2) reacting the alkyloxy-containing cobalt compound obtained in the step (1) with a cyclopentadiene monomer in a second alcoholic solvent to obtain a mixed solution containing cobaltocene, and carrying out distillation to remove the solvent to obtain a coarse product of cobaltocene; (3) dissolving the cobaltocene coarse product obtained in the step (2) into a non-proton solvent, filtering, adding an ether solvent into the condensed filtrate, and carrying out recrystallization to obtain cobaltocene solids. The raw materials used in the provided preparation technology all have a wide source and low price. The reagents, which need strict reaction conditions, such as metal sodium, amino sodium, and the like, are not used in the provided preparation technology. Moreover, the reaction conditions are mild, the operation is convenient and safe, the production cost is low, thus the preparation technology is very suitable for industrial production, and the cobaltocene product is high-purity solid crystals.
