The invention relates to a method of taking bran as raw materials to prepare high-purity low-poly araboxylan and ferulic acid and belongs to the field of biomass comprehensive utilization. According to the invention, the bran of wheat and corns are subjected to efficient pre-processing and an ultrasonic assisted composite enzymolysis is adopted so as to obtain a mixed liquid of the araboxylan and the ferulic acid, and then the mixed liquid flows through absorbent carbon to be subjected to adsorption and separation; the araboxylan solution is subjected to bleaching through the combination of absorbent carbon particles and bleaching resin, and subjected to chromatographic fractionation through a sequential simulated moving bed, so as to obtain the low-poly araboxylan product with oligosaccharide purity higher than 95 percent; and the ferulic acid is subjected to ethanol leaching to obtain the high-purity ferulic acid product. According to the invention, the bran, by-products of grain processing, are taken as raw materials for deep processing and comprehensive utilization, thereby obtaining two products which have high added value, are high in purity and good in functionality; and accordingly, the food raw material utilization rate is effectively improved, and the added value of the deep processing industry of the food is increased.

The present invention relates to a method for increasing in a baked product, after baking, the level of water-soluble arabinoxylan with an average degree of polymerization ranging from 5 to 50, preferably ranging from 5 to 35, more preferably ranging from 5 to 25, said method comprising the steps of:—Preparing a dough for a baked product with flour, a mixture of flours or a mixture of flour (s) with milling fractions having a total arabinoxylan content of at least 2.0%, preferably at least 2.5%, and—Adding to said dough an enzyme preparation comprising at least one thermophilic endoxylanase in an amount at least 2-fold higher, preferably at least 3 to 6 times higher or even 10 times higher than the dose conferring 90% of the maximal bread volume increase obtained by addition of such enzyme preparation to the recipe of said baked product. Advantageously with said method baked products can be obtained that have a level of arabinoxylan of the desired type of at least 1.7%, more preferably at least 1.75%, such as at least 1.8%, 1.9% or 2.0%. The present invention further relates to baked products obtainable by this method, and to an improver and a dough which may be used for the preparation of such products. Baked products according to the invention advantageously have improved health benefits.

According to the method disclosed by the invention, site-oriented release of the arabinose in the intestines is realized, consumption of the arabinose in gastric juice is reduced, and the physiological function of the arabinose for promoting the growth of butyric acid bacteria and restraining the growth of harmful pathogenic bacteria can be notably improved.

Solvent extraction method for active polysaccharide of wheat bran

The invention discloses a method for extracting active polysaccharide-araboxylan from wheat bran through a compound solvent. The extraction method mainly comprises the following steps: the wheat bran is mildly hydrolyzed and preprocessed by a weak acid (citric acid); the target polysaccharide is extracted through a strong alkali (KOH); the extracting solution is centrifugated, neutralized, concentrated and subjected to ethanol precipitation; the ethanol precipitate is dried to obtain the target polysaccharide. The centrifuged supernate of the ethanol precipitate is concentrated and dried, and then can be used as an agricultural compound fertilizer for comprehensive utilization. According to the invention, a large quantity of the byproduct resource, namely the wheat bran is utilized, and the compound solvent is designed to extract the biological active polysaccharide, namely the araboxylan. Compared with the traditional alkali method, the extraction method improves the working efficiency, and reduces the environmental protection pressure. Animal experiments prove that the polysaccharide has prominent immunoregulatory activity, and the effect is comparable to that of lentinan. According to the target polysaccharide provided in the invention, the raw material is low in cost and rich, and the extraction method is environment-friendly, so that the industrialization development of the polysaccharide is promising in the future.
