system for automatically selecting and designing molds for retaining rings and spring machines. The method includes: obtaining the basic parameters of the
retaining ring to be processed, and determining the final
machine model that meets the requirements of each
processing stage based on the basic parameters; calculating the width-to-thickness ratio based on the width and thickness of the
retaining ring to be processed, and determining whether it meets the requirements for fan-shaped
processing based on the width or width-to-thickness ratio; if it meets the requirements for fan-shaped
processing, determining the inner arc angle of the fan-shaped
cut based on the basic parameters of the
retaining ring to be processed and the final
machine model; if it does not meet the requirements for fan-shaped processing, determining the
punching angle based on the
cut type and application, and selecting or designing a mold for the retaining ring to be processed. This invention achieves full
automation and intelligence in the selection and design of retaining ring and spring
machine molds by obtaining the basic parameters of the retaining ring, improving the efficiency and accuracy of mold design, and accurately matching processing parameters according to the specifications and
process requirements of the retaining ring, reducing the reliance on the
professional skills of operators.
