When the crawler crane performs hoisting operation by small amount and encounters backwardwind or suddenly performs unloading to cause backward bouncing of an arm frame, the device performs forward traction on the head of the arm frame to counteract the backward bouncing load of the head,and the effect of stress protection to the arm frame and avoidance of whole machine tipping are exerted. When the crawler crane performs dramatic operation or in a non working state, the steel wire rope winch releases the steel wire rope, the supporting rod and the front-mounted telescopic arm are retracted to the position close to the arm frame, and the device does not work and does not influence operation of the crane.
