The invention discloses a scavenger with an efficient formaldehyde purifying function. The scavenger comprises the following components in percentages by weight: 4-6% of a natural plant extract, 1-3%of a 4a molecular sieve, 1-3% of kieselguhr, 10-14% of nano TiO2 sol, 1-3% of dodecylbenzene sodium sulfonate, 1-3% of enzyme, 2-4% of lemon wax, 2-4% of tea leaves and the balance of deionized water.The scavenger has the advantages that a powder mixture of more than two of lemon balm, ficus elastic, ivy tree barks and spathiphyllum kochii is used as a raw material, by amino acid extracted by a supercritical method, the ratio of other chemical raw materials is reduced correspondingly, and therefore, secondary pollution caused by an air purifying agent can be relieved; and the 4a molecular sieve and the kieselguhr are added and are modified by transition metal, the adsorption ability of the 4a molecular sieve and the kieselguhr is greatly enhanced, the 4a molecular sieve and the kieselguhr belong to natural zeolite and are low in price, and thus, the cost of the scavenger is reduced; and by addition of the tea leaves, the scavenger is fresh while an effect of removing the formaldehydeis enhanced.
