7 results about "Bacillus spores" patented technology

Bacillus is a gram-positive, rod-shaped bacterium. Bacillus thrive on dead or decaying organic material. The spores are commonly found in soil, dust, and water. Actinomycetes (or filamentous bacteria) is another group of spore forming bacteria.

Acidic fabric care composition

The present invention provides an improved low-pH fabric care composition that provides freshness and odor prevention effects even after the fabric has been washed, i.e., during storage and use of the fabric. [Solution] A liquid fabric care composition comprising an organic acid and / or a salt thereof, a Bacillus spore, an aromatic material including an aldehyde-based fragrance raw material, and water, wherein the composition comprises less than 10% by weight of the composition, selected from the group consisting of cleaning surfactants, bleaching agents, fabric softening materials and mixtures thereof, the composition has a stock pH of about 2 to about 4, the composition is added during the rinse cycle of a laundry process, and the composition comprises 0.001% to 1.0% by weight of a sulfur-containing compound selected from sulfate compounds, bisulfate compounds or combinations thereof.

Pretreatment of organic waste for lactic acid production employing compositions of bacillus coagulans spores

Methods and systems for pretreatment of organic waste prior to large-scale production of lactic acid from the organic waste are provided, which employ dried or partially-dried compositions of Bacillus coagulans spores. The methods and systems advantageously provide partial conversion of the organic waste to L-lactic acid already at the pretreatment stage, thereby producing an improved feedstock material for large- scale production of L-lactic acid.

Production method of Bacillus coagulans spore powder

This invention discloses a method for producing Bacillus coagulans spore powder, providing a high-concentration, high-quality spore powder production method for a heat-resistant, multifunctional, tea tree phosphate-solubilizing biocontrol Bacillus coagulans strain. This method can ferment and produce high-viable-spore, highly stress-resistant mature spore fermentation broth, high-viable-spore, centrifuged concentrated spore powder, and high-viable-spore, high-quality spore powder of strain PPX-13 (CGMCC No. 7.608). Preservation tests show that the PPX-13 high-viable-spore, high-quality spore powder product has a shelf life of one year when stored at low cost in a dark, room-temperature environment. Based on the established industrial-scale production process, it can be preliminarily estimated that each ton of high-viable-spore, highly stress-resistant mature spore fermentation broth can produce 8.7 kg of high-viable-spore, centrifuged concentrated spore powder and 392.81 kg of PPX-13 high-concentration, high-quality spore powder product, enabling large-scale industrial fermentation production of Bacillus coagulans spore powder.

A cleaning composition comprising a bacillus bacterial spore and an amino carboxylic acid

The present invention is in the field of liquid cleaning compositions. There is a need for an improved liquid cleaning composition with a good environmental profile that provides efficient cleaning and hygiene benefit which sustains for a longer period. It has been found that select sequestrants and surfactants which also contain a Bacillus spore provides a stable liquid cleaning composition. The composition provides long lasting cleaning and hygiene benefit. The present invention further provides a method of cleaning a surface and use of select sequestrants for stabilizing a Bacillus bacterial spore in a surfactant containing liquid cleaning composition.

A bacillus spore killing system, a killing method and application thereof

PendingCN122440866ATitanium electrodeDisinfectant
The present application belongs to the technical field of environmental disinfection and biosafety prevention and control, and relates to a bacillus spore killing system and method and application thereof, which kills bacillus spores through the synergistic effect of electrochemical oxidation and ultraviolet irradiation; the anode of the electrochemical oxidation is a titanium electrode with a ruthenium-iridium coating, and the cathode is a palladium-plated titanium electrode; the active chlorine species and hydroxyl radicals generated under the action of electrochemical oxidation and ultraviolet irradiation are used to realize efficient and irreversible killing of bacillus spores. The present application does not need to add additional chemical disinfectants, and can achieve complete 6 log inactivation effect within 15 minutes, greatly shortening the killing time; the specific energy consumption of killing is as low as 5.62 kWh.m ‑3 The secondary pollution risk caused by disinfection by-products is fundamentally eliminated, and the generation of microbial drug resistance is avoided; the present application has low energy consumption, high killing efficiency, good long-term operation stability, is suitable for large-scale popularization and application, and has wide market prospects.
