This invention discloses a method for preparing a
graphene-modified ultra-weather-resistant nano-
coating system and its application, belonging to the field of
coating materials technology. The method includes: preparing bifunctionalized modified
graphene grafted with both
ultraviolet absorbing groups and free radical
scavenging groups; preparing a primer component and a modified
epoxy resin topcoat component using the bifunctionalized modified
graphene as a functional filler; sequentially
coating the primer component and topcoat component onto the surface of a substrate, and curing to form a primer layer and a topcoat layer, thus obtaining the
coating system. This invention, by synergistically
grafting ultraviolet absorbing groups and free radical
scavenging groups onto the surface of nano-graphene and combining the gradient
functional design of the primer and topcoat, enables the
coating system to possess excellent adhesion, barrier performance, and ultra-
weather resistance, and can be widely used for
corrosion and aging prevention of outdoor
steel structures, bridges, photovoltaic supports, or
marine engineering equipment.
