The invention discloses a method for preparing biodiesel with no byproduct glycerol. The method comprises: mixing a transesterification reagent with animal-vegetable fat; performing reaction at a temperature between 30 and 450 DEG C for 2 to 18 hours, wherein the mass ratio of the transesterification reagent to the animal-vegetable fat is 1:1-30:1; the addition amount of catalysts is 1 to 30 percent of the mass of the animal-vegetable fat; and the pressure in a reactor is 0.05 to 30 MPa; filtering to remove the catalysts; distilling to remove excessive transesterification reagent; and obtaining a product which is biodiesel. The product has no byproduct glycerol. The method has the advantages that the pollution of methanol steam at high temperature is avoided; the catalysts are easy to separate, need no washing and produce no wastewater, thereby providing possibility for the reuse of the catalysts so as to solve heavy technical and economic burdens arising in the prior biodiesel preparation process; and the transesterification of the fat and the novel transesterification reagent can co-produce glycerol as down-stream product which is taken as one of the components of the biodiesel, needs no separation, produces no glycerol byproduct, and improves the utilization rate of raw materials.
