Method for extracting citrus pericarp essential oil

The invention discloses a method for extracting citrus pericarp essential oil, which comprises the following steps: selecting fresh citrus pericarps, removing the white pericarp layer until the pericarp thickness is 0.1-0.2cm, mincing, repeatedly freezing and thawing for 2-5 times, preparing a compound enzyme from pectinase and cellulose at a mass ratio of (1-6):1, preparing an enzyme solution, mixing the pretreated citrus pericarp particles with the compound enzyme solution, and performing enzymolysis in a dark place for 5-30min; and performing condensation and reflux extraction of the hydrolyzed citrus pericarps with n-hexane, and removing n-hexane to obtain essential oil. The method disclosed by the invention adopts a physical process of repeated freezing and thawing to conduct initialbreak of cell walls of citrus pericarps, and then performs enzymolysis of the citrus pericarps with the compound enzyme, so as to greatly increase the extraction rate of citrus pericarp essential oil. The method also has the following advantages: the extraction process is simple, the natural fragrance is less damaged, and the use value of the citrus processing byproduct - citrus pericarps - can be utilized to a maximum extent. The essential oil extracted using the method disclosed by the invention has pure texture and has the natural fragrance of citrus fruits.

The invention discloses an anti-oxidation active extract of citrus peels as well as an extraction process and application thereof. The active extract of the citrus peels mainly contains a citrus flavonoid substance and pectic polysaccharide. The extraction process of the active extract of the citrus peels comprises the steps of preprocessing raw materials, refluxing and extracting by a dipping method, decompressing and concentrating and drying in vacuum. The invention takes the in-vitro oxidation resistance of the extract to combine with the extraction yield as indexes, adopts a response surface method to optimize the extraction process, has reasonable technological conditions and good effect stability and is suitable for industrialized production. The active extract of the citrus peels, which is obtained by extraction, has an obvious effect to a model mouse with senility caused by D-galactose and can lower the content of the MDA (malondialdehyde) of the plasma, the liver and the brain obviously; the activity of the SOD (superoxide dismutase) of the plasma, the liver and the brain is obviously enhanced; the activity of the GSH-Px (glutathione peroxidase) of the plasma and the liver is obviously enhanced; and the invention can be used for preparing an anti-oxidation medicine, an anti-oxidation food or an anti-oxidation health-care product.

A method and compounds are described and claimed relating to plant defense inducer compositions and compounds, and to their use for improving certain aspects of plant and crop management, including treating plant disease, improving the ability of plants to defend against disease, reducing disease symptoms, treating HLB disease, minimizing crop yield decreases due to plant disease, improving crop productivity, and increasing crop quality. In particular, the compounds and compositions are useful for controlling and treating plant disease, for example Huanglongbing disease (HLB) and mitigating disease symptoms of HLB and Ca. Liberibacter infection in plants. Crop plants are contemplated for use with the invention, for example citrus trees. Methods according to embodiments of the invention involve treatment of affected plants by application (preferably by injection into the trunk, soil application or foliar spraying) of one or more compounds selected from β-aminobutyric acid or a salt thereof, 2-deoxy-D-glucose, salicylic acid or a salt thereof, oxalic acid. Typical methods involve application of a composition containing a botanically acceptable vehicle and β-aminobutyric acid. In certain methods, the plants used in the method are citrus plants, and the citrus plants are affected by or susceptible to Huanglongbing (HLB) disease or infection by Candidatus Liberibacter species.

Method for continuously preparing citrus flavonoids

The invention discloses a method for continuously preparing citrus flavonoids. The method comprises the following steps: 1) pretreatment of citrus peel pomace: cleaning, drying and crushing the citruspeel pomace; 2) ultrasonic countercurrent extraction: putting the citrus peel pomace powder into an ultrasonic extraction device, carrying out continuous countercurrent extraction with ethanol, and filtering to obtain a citrus flavonoid extracting solution and filter residues; 3) low-temperature concentration: concentrating the citrus flavonoid extracting solution in a low-temperature concentration device to obtain a citrus flavonoid crude concentrated solution, and recovering ethanol; 4) separation and purification: feeding the citrus flavonoid crude concentrated solution into a chromatographic column for separation and purification, and collecting a citrus flavonoid eluent; and (5) preparation of a finished product: firstly concentrating at low temperature to recover ethanol, and finally performing freeze-drying powder forming in a freeze dryer. The method improves the extraction rate of the citrus flavonoids, reduces the loss of effective components, reduces the consumption of organic solvents during extraction, is high in degree of automation, and can realize large-scale industrial continuous production.
