The invention discloses a floating oil seal
machining process, which sequentially comprises the following steps of: performing rubber mold precoated sand modeling,
casting, performing shot blasting, checking a blank,
grinding, performing
quenching heat treatment, performing oil abrasion, cleaning, injecting oil, mounting a
rubber ring, checking, packaging, warehousing and the like, wherein molten iron comprises the following components in parts by weight: 18 to 26 parts of Cr, 2.5 to 5.7 parts of Mo, 3.76 to 3.78 parts of Ni, 1.25 to 3.29 parts of Cu, 1.55 to 3.92 parts of Mn, 2.87 to 4.15 parts of Si and 4.88 to 6.12 parts of C. During
casting, mold is conveniently withdrawn, one-step
casting molding is performed, the waste of the molten iron is reduced, the process of turning the
machining allowance of the lathe can be avoided,
mass production is convenient, and the cost is reduced; and moreover, the strength,
hardness,
wear resistance, fatigue strength,
heat resistance and
toughness of the floating seal ring are greatly improved. According to the finished floating oil seal, various detection indexes exceed over 5 to 10 percent of the standard in the industry, and the floating oil seal is worthy of popularization and application.
